Our story starts in Mexico, where our families were happy ranchers surrounded by animals and wide open spaces. When we moved to California, we traded pastures for city life and thought we’d left that chapter behind.

Fast-forward to the pandemic; we decided it was time to dust off our boots and get back to our roots. We found a ranch just outside the Bay and never looked back. Like most folks, we began with two hens, two ducks, and a rescued turkey. From there, we expanded to goats and sheep and continue to expand our animal family.

Why Bay Chicks? Because we’re still Bay Area locals, raising happy animals for a community that loves animals as much as we do and cares about where their food comes from.
